Barbados has emerged as the leader in offering salaries well above market value in the Caribbean, according to the latest Caribbean Salary Survey Report, PayPulse 2023. The comprehensive survey, conducted by the Caribbean Society for Human Resource Professionals (CSHRP), gathered data from 117 companies spanning 15 Caribbean nations. The findings shed light on significant variations in compensation practices across the region.
The report, which stands as the most extensive and up-to-date resource in the Caribbean, disclosed that an impressive 53.3% of jobs surveyed in Barbados boasted salaries surpassing market value. The PayPulse 2023 findings positioned Antigua and Barbuda in the second spot, with 16.7% of jobs paying above market value, closely followed by Jamaica at third place with 13.3%.
