East Side out front...tops Panorama small bands semi-final


T&TEC New East Side Dimension leads a competitive field of 15 steelbands into the National Panorama Small Conventional final this Friday.


The Kersh Ramsey-led Scarborough orchestra holds a three-point lead on the pack following Saturday night’s semi-final round of the competition, at Victoria Square, Port of Spain.


Ramsey’s arrangement of Lord Kitchener’s pan classic (Aldwyn Roberts) “Toco Band” amassed a mammoth 277 points, beating La Horquetta Pan Groove’s—playing Bajan soca veteran Ras Iley’s (Darcy Small) “Spring Garden on Fire” into second spot with 274 points. Read More
