Entertainment minister says postponement of Sting is regrettable


Entertainment Minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange has described the postponement of Sting 2024 as regrettable.


This year’s postponement of the iconic Boxing Day reggae and dancehall concert comes amid reports of payment disputes between the event organisers and the production company contracted for stage and sound services.


Commenting on the news, Grange said: “It is, therefore, regrettable that due to other issues with which they are faced, Sting 2024 had to be postponed. I continue to be in dialogue with the Sting team and look forward to being advised of the new date for the staging of Sting.”
