For gospel singer, songwriter, and producer Nathanael, his latest release “For The Record” is more than just a song—it’s a testament to survival, gratitude, and the undeniable presence of God in his life. The inspiration? A near-fatal car accident that could have easily ended his journey. But instead, it became the spark that reignited his purpose.


Exactly one month before the song’s release, on his birthday, Nathanael survived what could have been a deadly crash. The wreckage of his vehicle left police officers shaking their heads, convinced they were looking at the aftermath of a fatal crash.


“She looked at me and asked, ‘How many deaths? How many people were in that vehicle’” Nathanael recalled. “I told her, ‘Just one… just the driver.’ And when she realised that driver was me, standing right in front of her without a scratch, she couldn’t believe it.”


As he sat in the police station, waiting for his paperwork, the weight of the moment settled in. The officers were still whispering in disbelief, glancing back and forth between him and the pictures of his mangled car.


One officer, still processing, turned to him and said, “That boy walk in here normal, normal so. No injuries. Howww boy?”
