Trinidad and Tobago artists Erphaan Alves and D Piano Girl Johanna have done a cover version of David Rudder's iconic, "Rally 'Round the West Indies."
Cricket West Indies announced that the new version of the song is a tribute to Rudder, who released the song in 1987.
The song was adopted as the official anthem of the West Indies team in 1999.
"This is a winning partnership and is sure to give that same outpouring of pride and collective support for our teams, which we all share as proud and loyal maroon fans," CWI stated in a media release.
Rudder had said in an interview with The Guardian, that the song was a snapshot of the West Indies team on the decline. Read More
